May b i don't know much of music like you guys.. but am feeling all grooved
up after hearing this number. Don't know why you are comparing these
classics with their master versions. These are all recreated numbers & has
nothing to do with the original. Moreover, its a fusion based show. Guys,

Shaan and Harshdeep are brilliant. blown away by this lady.. the
arrangement is a nice attempt.. far from appealing . the kbd player is
superb but could have avoided a Doors like entry.. guitar player is pretty
BAD.playin the same riff whole through the song.. the arrangement has few
very delicate moments and this riff just dont fit .. and the song had so
much space for chord harmonic improvisation..such a waste .. an avg player
just plays, a good player listens. the rest of the bnd is jst okay

Sax is brilliant though.. they need a better bass , guitar player and a
drummer .. who play with much more involvements and creative inputs.. maybe
Leslie needs to be changed also , India has no dearth of these.. Pak CS has
been much superior till this point.. India CS has few very good songs but
still a long way to go...

I don't think LL is trying to prove he is better than MM. I have a question
for all the critics here. How many of you can sing/compose music half as

First and foremost, what strikes me most about the comments here is the
utter disregard for simple grammar. Seriously, take 2 more seconds to get
it right; some of this stuff is painful to read. Second, no one will EVER
rival Mohd. Rafi. And no one knows it more than the singers here. They are
merely attempting a contemporary rendition of the classic. Yes, some of
their improvisations don't sound all that good, but I think its an
interesting take on the old classic, at the very least.
