An interesting point in this dance is that all chorus dancers are always
kept in darkness and nobody sees their faces. Only at 1:30 third dancer
from left is momentarily exposed in light. Perhaps, the director did not
notice it or he ignored it. It is said that some songs and dances of this
movie were directed by Guru Dutt himself although the director was Abrar
Alvie, who also admitted it.
