You want a good song, a great song, let Kishore, Mahendra, Mukesh, Hemant, Talat etc sing it. But, if it is an immortal one that you seek, then you turn to the masterful, and incomparable voice of the one and only Mohammed Rafi. OP and the great man must have been on bad terms when this record was made. Rafi sang for OP exclusively. But for this song, OP must have known he had to turn to Rafi in order to make this song the masterpiece that it is. Rafi is totally in another spectrum! RIP.
