हसरत जयपुरी की कलम से निकला एक बेहतरीन गीत जिसे 1961 में फ़िल्म जब प्यार
किसी से होता है के लिए शंकर-जयकिशन की जोड़ी ने बड़े प्यार से संगीतबद्ध किया
और रफ़ी साहिब ने अपने सुरीले अंदाज़ में इसे गाया और संगीत-प्रेमियों के दिल
में उतर गए। ..परदे पर इस गीत के फिल्मांकन के पहले आशा भोंसले की
आवाज़ में महफ़िल के scene में एक कलाम पेश किया गया था जिसकी प्रस्तुति परदे पर
आशा पारेख़ ने की थी जो बेहद सुंदर बन पड़ा था। इस कलाम की चंद पंक्तियाँ देखिये

देवानंद उस वक़्त लोकप्रियता की अपनी चरम सीमा पर थे और इस गीत को अपने
चिर-परिचित अंदाज़ में पेश किया था जो बहुत ही लोकप्रिय हुआ था। वाकई, यह जादू
भरा गीत आज भी सुनने में उतना ही ताज़ा लगता है।
