Hello Yuan and thank you. Very popular back in early 1980's. The thing about songs starting mid 1970's was that they would liked for a few weeks and then, poof..gone. Jagjit sang well when he was with his wife, Chitra. Later, he lost it, though still is liked by a huge crowd. He was never a composer. This song he took from a film "Taqdeer" 1968 song "Jab Jab Bahar Ayee, Aur Phool Muskuraye" tuned by LP(not their original work) and sung by Rafi. It's on YouTube. Thank you.
