Hi Yashi2612, I think, u r right. it is sung by Gayatri Iyer. I searched on internet and found that the singer of this song is Gayatri Iyer who is wife of Kunam Ganjawala and Vani Ganpati is not a singer, I just came to know that lolz..

What a haunting tune! Heard it at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa rendered by Ujjaini,
