I don't know about Lataji's personal opinion. But in my opinion, R D made
Lata sing some of the best and most difficult melodies of her career. "
Beeti Na Betai" , "Ghar aaja ghir aaye", "Bada Natkhar hai yeh kishan
kahnaiya" to name just a few. I could go on with another dozen songs. But
the point is, RD gave her most of the best songs of her career whether she
agrees to it or not. The only other composer who comes close is Madan Mohan
ji.
