Jagjit Singh was introduced to me by a close acquainatnce, almost a friend,
when I was a student of Ph D at PU Chandigarh. Then I met Jagjit at
Ludhiana and spent a night at his father's residence in Partap Nagar
Ludhiana; he impressed me like anything as a man; earlier I knew that he
was agreat singer. I have not met him since 1983 but his memories are ever
fresh in my mind.

Singh gave music and lend his voice to it in 1976 for his first LP album

It is really great it you can make out Urdu/Hindi to understand the lyrics
as the feel is in words.though I have tried to translate... If
talks/conversations start then will go quite far... Unecessarily people
will ask reason(s) for sorrow..they will also ask why you are so much
worried.. Fingers will be raised on dry hair.. A relook will be done on
past passed years.. Even (Ur) Bangles will be subject of many taunts...
