It's beautiful ,breathtaking and spine-tingling to watch.The two beautiful women, Vyjayanthimala and Padmini were highly trained dedicated classical Barathanatyam dancers who set very high standards during their time never to be matched in the overall sense;very good actresses too .The dance talks here of the rivalry between them, all for the man they love.This will forever be remembered as the best dance competition in the Indian films.We have not seen anything like this before or after.

Spectacular dancing by both. However, Asha's voice does not suit the dance
at all. She might have sung some good songs but here her voice diminshes
the performance of these two great dancers. In this video Vijayantimala was
at her peak of her femininity. That femininity and sensuality belongs to
Waheeda Rahman. All these three dancers/actresses are the tops but Waheeda
is special.

Nadu and Padmini from Kerala.All three were trained Bharatha Natyam
dancers, but both Vyjayanthimala and Padmini were considered top exponents
of Bharatha Natyam only matched by Kamala Lashmanan, who did not turn out
to be good actress.
