The other, bodies priced, a cheaper, hollow space.
One side, the gleam of gold and silver bright,
The other, shadows lurking, swallowed by the night.

Half the face bathed in light, a radiant sheen,
Half, pierced by arrows, a sorrowful scene.
Half the body adorned with precious gems,
The other, marked by scars, life's harsh stratagems.
In half the homes, a joy that knows no end,
In other abodes, a poverty to contend.
A crown upon the brow, a regal guise,
Yet burdened, the Ganges held before the eyes.

From the right hand, alms are sought and given,
From the left, the moon's embrace, to all souls driven.
One side, a flowing treasure, a boundless store,
The other, hands outstretched, forevermore.
