very good track by the legendary lata ji .. just one niggle, how would a child go to sleep when this is so loudly sung? .. it may have been better if it had been gentler, maybe even whispering to the child .. lata's rendition would have been even better .. just my opinion

also i remebr watching the TV show Meri Awaz Suno, as a kid. Whenever the partcipants r asked to sing a lori either this song or the song from Sadma, "Surmayi akhiyon.." wud be sung always!!
