Blind in his passion, he raced to his mother's start.
The savage struck his mother, a dagger to her breast,

Seeking justice, they arrived at the judge's bay.
One claimed him as her own, one proclaimed,

The judge pondered the matter, then ordered the execution,
"Sever the head, divide the child," a cruel solution.
Then the true mother cried, "Wait! Don't do this, refrain!
