There is no doubt that Kishore Kumar is the best playback commercial singer
we have ever had in Indian cinema. His god gifted talent, macho voice,
sweetness . you tell any speciality he had it. He was truly God send
once in a 100 of years talent. Love you dada.

Kishoreda dominates !! High nodes and low nodes are superb !! touches
heart !! I remember ashok kumar said it once that Kishore touches hearts of
people because he was so perfect in Surr that no one can ever match it !!

Bengali version of this song "Paliye jete chayi" by Asha Bhosle is also
very beautiful. Hindi version is fast and with Kishore Da as an additional
advantage but once you hear the bengali version you will fell in love with
the tune instantly. Bengali version is completely a Jazz version. R D
Burman had a great command on instrumental arrangements. Such a versatile
composer. Beautiful composition! :)
