Lyrics of Saathi Na Koi Manzil, Diya Hai Na Koi Mehfil - साथी न कोई मंज़िल दिया है न कोई महफ़िल
saathi na koi mazil diyaa hai na koi mahafil
chalaa mujhe leke ai dil akelaa kahaan
saathi na koi mazil diyaa hai na koi mahafil
chalaa mujhe leke ai dil akelaa kahaan

hamadam mile koi kahi aise nasib hi nahi
bedard hai zami dur aasamaan
hamadam mile koi kahi aise nasib hi nahi
bedard hai zami dur aasamaan
saathi na koi mazil diyaa hai na koi mahafil
chalaa mujhe leke ai dil akelaa kahaan
saathi na koi mazil

galiyaa hai apane desh ki phir bhi hai jaise ajanabi
kisako kahe koi apanaa yahaan

shishe kaa dil liye jaaun kahaan

lyrics of song Saathi Na Koi Manzil, Diya Hai Na Koi Mehfil
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Saathi Na Koi Manzil, Diya Hai Na Koi Mehfil - साथी न कोई मंज़िल दिया है न कोई महफ़िल
No companion, no haven, no gathering,
My heart, where are you leading me, alone?
No companion, no haven, no gathering,
My heart, where are you leading me, alone?

No fortune to find a friend anywhere,
The earth is unkind, the sky so far.
No fortune to find a friend anywhere,
The earth is unkind, the sky so far.
No companion, no haven, no gathering,
My heart, where are you leading me, alone?
No companion, no haven.

The streets of my homeland, yet strangers they seem,
To whom can one call their own here?
The streets of my homeland, yet strangers they seem,
To whom can one call their own here?
No companion, no haven, no gathering,
My heart, where are you leading me, alone?
No companion, no haven.

Stone-hearted humans, stone-like gods I meet,
With a heart of glass, where shall I go?
Stone-hearted humans, stone-like gods I meet,
With a heart of glass, where shall I go?
No companion, no haven, no gathering,
My heart, where are you leading me, alone?
No companion.

India will never produce a singer like Rafi, he was provided with a divine melodies.

@ChrisLawNZ He has used him in lot of Movie as Saqi, nadyya key par, albela
and many more but suppose he didn't like Rafi still he had no choice but to
use Rafi's phonomenal telent in order to make his songs super hit. The MDs
you have mentioned might have not liked rafi because he was no1 choice of
the music god Naushad and we all know these MDs had have problem with
Naushad. Similarly rafi was 1st choice of husnlal bhaghtram, S.D burman,o.p
nayyar and many more.

sir every one has his time, when 50 s and 60s was Rafi's era far far
dominent on kishore and others. Rafi was favourite of the Legend
naushad,shanker jaikishan,o.p nayyar, c.ramchandra. those composer never
liked kishore. so what if the trivial composers like u have mentioned didnt
use him. do u think Bappi or whatever is a composer..no way. Rafi had
has his time when he was need of every composer even R.D.Burman had no
choice but to use his voice.

Indian cinema has the 'star' system where a cult like following is created
by ensuring that other singers are suppressed to ensure stardom of one
person for the express purpose of making more money for the industry as a
whole. This is a strategy that has worked for Hollywood a well as Bollywood
and other woods. There were many singers as good as Rafi, who we all agree
was a good singer.

I love Mohammed Rafi Sahib's voice and in my eyes he was the greatest thing what could happen to India. No one can ever take his place in the indian music industry, he was the King in all kind of songs. This song was written by Majrooh Sultanpuri, music S. D. Burman who appreciated working with Mohammed Rafi Sahib. Khushy 100.
