Ro Ro Ke Dil Pukare, Dhudhe Tere Ishare - रो रो के दिल पुकारे, ढूंढे तेरे इशारे
Lyrics of Ro Ro Ke Dil Pukare, Dhudhe Tere Ishare - रो रो के दिल पुकारे, ढूंढे तेरे इशारे
ro ro ke dil pukare, ro ro ke dil pukare
dhunde tere ishare, dhunde tere ishare
bas ek bar aaja, aaja
kahte hai gham ke maare, ab hum hai besahare
ab hum hai besahare, bas ek bar aaja, aaja

din ab raha nahi din, ek raat ho gayi hai
din ab raha nahi din, ek raat ho gayi hai
ye dil hi janta hai kya bat ho gayi hai
bairi huye sitare, kismat se hum to haare
kismat se hum to haare, bas ek bar aaja, aaja

laau kaha se ab mai gujra hua zamana
phulo ke darmiya tha jab mera aashiyana
hanske jo din gujare, kaise koi bisare
kaise koi bisare, bas ek bar aaja, aaja
ro ro ke dil pukare, dhundhe tere ishare
dhundhe tere ishare, bas ek bar aaja, aaja
lyrics of song Ro Ro Ke Dil Pukare, Dhudhe Tere Ishare
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Ro Ro Ke Dil Pukare, Dhudhe Tere Ishare - रो रो के दिल पुकारे, ढूंढे तेरे इशारे
The heart, it weeps and calls, it weeps and calls,
Searching for your signs, searching for your signs.
Just once, come, oh come.
They say the grieving mourn, we are now forlorn,
We are now forlorn, just once, come, oh come.

Day is no longer day, it has become a night,
Day is no longer day, it has become a night.
This heart alone knows, what has now become.
Even stars have turned foes, from fate, we have lost.
From fate, we have lost, just once, come, oh come.

Where can I find that time now, that time gone by,
When my nest was amidst the flowers, reaching high?
Days spent laughing, how can one ever forget?
How can one ever forget, just once, come, oh come.
The heart, it weeps and calls, searching for your signs,
Searching for your signs, just once, come, oh come.

All three songs are beautiful. First one is song of pain, dard. Second one is of hopes and third one is of facts.
Lata ji brings all these different emotions in them with her singing.
Thanks Ajay Bhaiya for sharing. Love. Didi.

Looking at her picture...She has three Ds: desire, determination and discipline.
She is VERY disciplined.
these songs I never heard...
So always...I like that I've missed

The CR-Lata combination never fails to deliver dollops of honey. The second song, a ghazal, is among Lataji's finest and a beloved one for me. Love the picture of a young Lataji holding an LP record next to a record player. That old instrument has become a virtual Dodo in the digital music world of today. Thanks, Ajay.
