Lyrics of Muskuraati Hui Chaandani - मुस्कुराती हुई चाँदनी
muskurati hui chandani
jagmagata hua aasma
le chale ho mujhe tum kaha
do mohabbat bhare dil jaha
kah sake pyar ki dasata
hum tumhe le chale hai waha
kah rahe hai nazare pukar ke
bit jaye na din ye bahaar ke
sansanati hawao ke geet ne
taar chede hai dil ke sitar ke
ye suhana sama hai umange jawa
phir khule kyou na dil ki zuban
muskurati hui chandani
jagmagata hua aasma
le chale ho mujhe tum kaha
do mohabbat bhare dil jaha
kah sake pyar ki dasata
hum tumhe le chale hai waha
aaj kaisi suhani ye raat hai
zindagi me nayi ek baat hai
in sitaro ki rangin chaav me
do dilo ka anokha ye saath hai
hum tumhare huye tum humare huye
pyar ka muskuraya jaha
muskurati hui chandani
jagmagata hua aasma
le chale ho mujhe tum kaha
do mohabbat bhare dil jaha
kah sake pyar ki dasata
hum tumhe le chale hai waha
jagmagata hua aasma
le chale ho mujhe tum kaha

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Muskuraati Hui Chaandani - मुस्कुराती हुई चाँदनी
Smiling moonlight, softly bright,
Sparkling heavens, filled with light,
Where are you leading me away?
To hearts entwined, where lovers stay.
A tale of love, we long to tell,
To that bright place, where we shall dwell.
The vistas call, in whispered plea,
Let not this springtime fade, you see.
The whistling winds sing melodies,
That pluck the strings of hearts at ease.
This joyful scene, a vibrant bloom,
Why then, our silent hearts consume?
Smiling moonlight, softly bright,
Sparkling heavens, filled with light,
Where are you leading me away?
To hearts entwined, where lovers stay.
A tale of love, we long to tell,
To that bright place, where we shall dwell.
How sweet this night, a wondrous grace,
A brand new chapter finds its place.
Within the shade, where colors gleam,
Two hearts united, in a dream.
We are yours now, and you are ours,
Love's world unfolds, in fragrant flowers.
Smiling moonlight, softly bright,
Sparkling heavens, filled with light,
Where are you leading me away?
To hearts entwined, where lovers stay.
A tale of love, we long to tell,
To that bright place, where we shall dwell.
Sparkling heavens, filled with light,

I believe this song is from film "Watan". Both music and lyric are by Ravi and after 1955 or 1956 because Ravi's first film was a Davender Goel production, Vachan which was released in 1956.
