na abhi andhera na ujala ho na abhi rat na din
jism jab khatm ho aur ruh ko sans aaye

Death, you are a poem, a whispered decree,
Promising verse, a fate held for me.
When pulses drown in slumbering pain,
And sorrow's tide begins to wane.

When faces turn the moon's pale hue,
Ascending heights, the heavens through.
As day still breathes in watery light,
And shadows dance on the edge of night.

Neither dark nor dawn's embrace,
Nor day's bright form, nor night's still space.
When the body fades, its earthly lease,
