Shankar Jaikishan, assistants to Music Directors Husnlal & Bhagatram. This is 100% not SJ's style. SJ took help from Music Director Ghulam Mohammad in their first film, Barsaat. The song "Main zindagi mein har dam rota hai raha hoon" was taken from Ghulam Mohammad's "Yeh jaan yeh imaan bus Allah ke liye hai" which he featured in "Laila Majnu".

Under a good music director, it was difficult to tell the difference between Lata & Geeta Dutt! This is why Lata did not like to sing duets with Geeta Dutt!!!!! Just check their duets out. Also from this movie "Pyar bhari in ankhon nein zalim tujhko yaad kiya".

@shankerjai Hello there. Not only the song mentioned above, Ghulam Mohammad helped SJ with most of the music in Barsaat. Another song "Bichhde Huwe Pardesi Ik Baar To Aana" was carved out from his future tune of
"Duniya Nahin Koi Yaar Wafadar, Zamana Sach Kehta Hai" film Amber 1952.
The Laila Majnu song I have on the film Long Play Record serial #ECLP 5738 issued first in 1982. I am sure you can find it CD. Thanks and regards.
