Karo Hari Darshan (Jab Jab Dharti Par Julm Bada) - करो हरि दर्शन (जब जब धरती पर जुल्म बड़ा )
Lyrics of Karo Hari Darshan (Jab Jab Dharti Par Julm Bada) - करो हरि दर्शन (जब जब धरती पर जुल्म बड़ा )
kitni hi bar daya nidhi ne
kitni hi bar daya nidhi ne
sansar ko aake ubhar liya
jab jab dharti par dhram ghata
tab tab parbhu ne avtar liya
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan

ye kahani bhaynkar kaal ki hai
parachin karodo saal ki hai
shankhasur naam ka tha danav
use darte the sur manav
rakash tha bada vikat bal me
vedo ko chura ke ghusa jal me
fir parbhu mne machhay roop dhara
papi shankhasur ko mara
papi shankhasur ko mara
ye amrit manthan ki hai katha
sur asuro ne sagar ko matha
sur asuro ne sagar ko matha
dubne laga parvat jal me
khalbali machi bhumandal me
tab hari ne kuram avtar liya
mandhrachal peeth pe dhar liya
hari ki lila hai ajab logo
dekho ab drisaye gajab logo

o dhan van tarijan me samandar se
amrit le aaye vo andar se
amrit ke liye danav jhagade
par parbhu nikale sabse tagde
parbhu bane sundar nari
mohini naam ki sukumari
jab matak matak mohini doli
daitayo ki band hui boli
asuro ka aasan hila diya
devo ko amrit pila diya

fir parbhu ka prithu avtar hua
unse dharti ka sudhar hua
sab niyam dharam ko theek kiya
jan jan ka man nirbhik kiya
jan jan ka man nirbhik kiya

ab suno bhagat dhruv ki gatha
bhagwan ko jhuka lo sab matha
jab dhruv ne hari darshan paye
tab uske lochan bhar aaye
ek baal bhagat ne nirakaar
naarayan ko saakaar kiya
jab jab dharti par dhram ghata
tab tab parbhu ne avtar liya
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan

jab garah ne gaj ko pakad liya
uske pairo ko jakad liya
tab chakr parani paidal dhaude
aa kar uske bandhan tode
aur chakr se garah ko sanhara
pal me gajraaj ko uddhara
fir parkat hue nar narayan
the maha tapsavi jag taaran
urvashi bhi dekh virakat hui
apsara bhi hari ki bhaqt hui
tab kaam bhi rasta naap gaya
aur karodh bhi man me kaap gaya
aur karodh bhi man me kaap gaya

bhaygriv tapasya karta tha
hone ko amar vo marta tha
tab maha maya saakaar hui
var dene ko taiyar hui
danav ne vachan ye ucchare
keval hari hi mujhe mare
hai shish roop hari ne dhara
aur papi rakshas ko mara
aur papi rakshas ko mara

fir hans roop me hari parkate
kalyan hetu shree hari parkate
bhagwan ne sab ko siksha di
pawan bhagati ki deeksha di
fir jag me yaagh bhagwan aaye
prithvi par parivartan laye
sab dev hawan se pushat huye
parani samshat santusat huye
fir parbhu kapil avtaar bane
shrisati ke tanarhar bane
apni mata ko gayan diya
janata ko sankhaye pardan kiya
janata ko sankhaye pardan kiya
fir sankadik avtar hue
vastav me balak char hue
mat socho vo keval balak the
bade dhram karam ke palak
jai vijai ko dekar shrap
baal bhgwaan ne jag ko taar diya

jab jab dharti par dhram ghata
tab tab parbhu ne avtar liya
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan
karo hari darshan, karo hari darshan
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Karo Hari Darshan (Jab Jab Dharti Par Julm Bada) - करो हरि दर्शन (जब जब धरती पर जुल्म बड़ा )
Again and again, Compassion's wellspring has risen,
To lift the world, in cycles of time,
When Dharma faltered, when shadows did glisten,
The Lord incarnate, in forms sublime.
Behold the Lord, behold the Lord,
Behold the Lord, behold the Lord.

A tale of ages, a story untold,
Of eons that stretch and forever unfold,
A demon named Shankhasura, a terror to all,
Frightening the gods, watching mortals fall.
A Rakshasa fierce, with power untold,
Stole the Vedas, in waters of old.
Then the Lord, as a fish, in oceans did gleam,
Slew the vile Shankhasura, ending the dream.
Slew the vile Shankhasura, ending the strife,
Of the churning of nectar, the essence of life,
Gods and demons, in oceans they churned,
The mountain was sinking, the earth was overturned.
Then Hari incarnate, as tortoise so grand,
Mandrachal mountain, upon his back spanned.
Behold the wonders, the marvels so bright,
The Lord's wondrous play, a breathtaking sight.

From oceans of being, nectar was sought,
The treasures of life, from within to be brought.
Demons they quarreled, for the nectar divine,
But the Lord rose supreme, His brilliance did shine.
He became a fair maiden, a vision of grace,
Mohini the lovely, with beauty to embrace.
As Mohini swayed, with a delicate art,
The demons fell silent, their schemes torn apart.
The gods were then favored, the nectar they drank,
The demons defeated, their spirits now sank.

Then Prithu incarnate, the earth to restore,
Bringing forth order, forevermore.
He set all the pathways, of Dharma and right,
And filled every heart with unwavering light.

Now hear of young Dhruva, a tale to impart,
Bow down to the Lord, with a reverent heart.
When Dhruva beheld, the Lord in his sight,
Tears filled his eyes, with radiant light.
A child, a devotee, the formless made real,
The image of Narayana, his devotion to feel.
When Dharma faltered, when shadows did gleam,
The Lord incarnate, a luminous dream.
Behold the Lord, behold the Lord.

When the crocodile seized, the elephant's hold,
His legs tightly bound, a story of old.
The Chakradhari hastened, a figure of might,
To break the harsh bonds, and set free from the fight.
With his Chakra, he slew, the crocodile's plight,
And freed the great Gajraj, in the radiant light.
Then Nara-Narayana, appeared in their state,
Great ascetics of the world, to elevate.
Urvashi beheld them, with feelings of awe,
An Apsara too, the Lord's law.
Then Kama the desire, vanished away,
And anger itself, began to sway.
And anger itself, began to sway.

Hayagriva in penance, a vow to attain,
Immortality's grasp, to banish all pain.
Then Maha Maya, appeared in her form,
To grant him a boon, and weather the storm.
The demon then uttered, a wish he did claim,
"Only Hari can slay me," the demon's name.
Hari took the form, of a head in its place,
And slew the vile Rakshasa, ending his race.
And slew the vile Rakshasa, ending his fight.

Then Hamsa appeared, in a form so bright,
For the world's well-being, he brought forth the light.
The Lord gave instruction, a lesson so pure,
The path of devotion, forever to endure.
Then the Lord as the Yagya, descended the earth,
Transformation's touch, of infinite worth.
The gods were enriched, by the holy fire's grace,
And all beings were sated, in this sacred space.
Then Kapila incarnate, the world did embrace,
A savior of creation, with infinite grace.
He gave wisdom to his mother, so dear,
And gave Sankhya to the people, to conquer all fear.
Then the Sanat-kumaras, four children so wise,
Though young in appearance, their glory did rise.
Don't think them as children, they were of great soul,
Guardians of Dharma, making the world whole.
Jay and Vijay, were then cursed by the Lord,
And saved all the world, by the merciful word.

When Dharma faltered, when shadows did gleam,
The Lord incarnate, a luminous dream.
Behold the Lord, behold the Lord.
