Lyrics of Jo Honge Agar Do Laal - जो होंगे अगर दो लाल
sabne kahi par ek na mani
duniya apni luta baithe
apne hatho ghar ke sawarg ko
aaj ye narak bana baithe

jo honge agar do laal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na bhatke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na bhatke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal

masum ye hai kaliya
phul ye pyare pyare
apni aakho ke tare
firte hai kyu mare mare
aansuo se kabhi na bhige
inke gulabi gaal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na batke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal

dharti mata ke ye anmol moti
kaise bange ye desh ki jyoti
inko mili pet bhar na roti
kaise chadenge himalaya ki choti
karna hai inko hi desh ki sima pe
dushman ko nidal
jo honge agar do laal
jo honge agar do laal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na bhatke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal

ye hindu ho ya musalmaan
har surat me hum hai insaan
paarsi ya sikkh isaayi
ye baat to sabko samjhaayi
yug ki maatao desh ke veero ka
jeevan lo sambhaal
jo honge agar do laal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na bhatke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal

ye bacche hai mere desh ke baaju
ye hi karenge garibi ko kaabu
bachne lage jo ghar me daane
aur desho se hum naa maange
hum naa maange hum kyu maange
ye hi humaari talwaare hai yehi humaari dhaal
jo honge agar do laal
vo honge na haal behal
gali gali me yu na bhatke
apne naunihal
jo honge agar do laal
jo honge agar do laal
jo honge agar do laal
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Jo Honge Agar Do Laal - जो होंगे अगर दो लाल
They all spoke, yet none heeded,
Lost their world, utterly conceded.
With their own hands, heaven's grace,
Turned their home to a desolate space.

If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright.

Innocent buds, so fragile and fair,
Blooms of beauty beyond compare.
Stars within our very gaze,
Why are they lost in a mournful haze?
May tears never stain, never seep,
Across their cheeks, where roses sleep.
If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright.

Two pearls of Earth, beyond compare,
How shall they light the nation's air?
When bellies ache, and hunger bites,
How can they scale the Himalayan heights?
They must stand, the nation's guard,
Defeat the foe, to them be barred.
If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright.

Be they Hindu, or Muslim's heart,
In every face, a human art.
Parsi, Sikh, or Christian's creed,
This truth, let all the world concede.
Mothers of ages, heroes bold,
Their precious lives, let us enfold.
If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright.

These children are my nation's might,
They'll conquer poverty's long night.
When grains abound within each door,
And begging from other lands no more,
We will not beg, why should we plead?
Their swords they are, their shields indeed.
If two rubies gleam so bright,
Despair will never dim their light.
No more they'll wander, lost and frail,
These blossoms of our cherished vale.
If two rubies gleam so bright.

A beautiful song, one I haven't heard for a long time.

There's also one other Mohammed Rafi solo song in this film, which I suppose was relatively more popular at the time; Gore Jism Aur Gulaabi Gaalwaali Ladkiyaan Ladkiyaan, Jaan Le Leti Hai Lambe Baalwaali Ladkiyaan Ladkiyaan.
