Second form: Brahmacharini, pure and bright,
Brahma's form, you banish dark of night.
You cleanse all sin, a cleansing, holy art,

Third form: Chandraghanta, bell of the moon,
Your presence banishes the soul's dark tune.
When you are found, the inner shadows flee,
Hail, hail to you, Jagdambe, wild and free.

Fourth form: Kushmanda, life's blossoming art,
From you, all joy, life's vibrant start.
You make life sweet, a garden to behold,
Hail, hail to you, Jagdambe, more precious than gold.

Fifth form: Skandamata, divine and true,
The worlds rise to greet you, life anew.
You vanquish pain, the triple bond undone,
Hail, hail to you, Jagdambe, victory won.

Sixth form: Katyayani, savior's hand,
Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, in your presence stand.
Worship you, and all shall be made whole,
Hail, hail to you, Jagdambe, for the soul.

Seventh: Maha Gauri, eighth, Kalratri's might,
Kalratri's form, in shadows of the night.
Ninth form: Ekidatri, a final tear,
Hail, hail to you, Jagdambe, banishing fear.
