@mailshaktikumar Mahesh Chander is indeed a fine singer. I do not recall
who sang Pattharon ka shaher. Whoever sang the song, Mahesh Chander or
Mahesh Kumar, his version appeals more than the Mohammad Rafi version,
though I consider latter the greatest bollywood male singer. It was
unfortunate that Mahesh Chander remained confined to sindhi music, like his
father Master Chander, and non sindhis like us did not get much to hear
from him.

I whole heartedly reiterate the feelings expressed by Javed 8 months ago.
We seem to have lost such golden gems of our childhood . Never heard this
song in ages but yesterday I dreamt about it and the dream came to life,
