The village queen, upon the track,
Awaits her love, there is no lack
Of hope that blooms within her gaze,
As twilight's lamps ignite their blaze.
Witnessing this sweet accord,
The evening star, the moon, adored.

When slumber's fairy casts her spell,
And dreams, like treasures, gently fell,
The world, in revelry's embrace,
Lost in a joyous, vibrant space.
But fate, in guise of shadows deep,
Crept to her home, where secrets sleep.
Her face, so innocent and mild,
A blush of self, the queen beguiled.
The destined act, she must unfold,
And cried aloud, her story told.
The hand of death, upon it's way,
Forever marked the fading day.

Dark witches came, their shadows near,
With clouds of black, and rising fear.
Upon death's harp, a mournful sound,
A mad lament, the world around.
The village fair, to dust did fall,
Grief's diwali for one and all.
Peace departed, joy took flight,
The golden fields, consumed by night.

Why rise, oh moon, in silver sheen?

Leaving behind a darkened day.
The village walls, in ruins lie,
Recounting tales that never die.
My womb now holds a sacred space,
For many queens, in time and place.
