contribution in Punjabi music have no match at least in India (Most of
Punjabi Music Masters either were settled in Lahore or migrated during
Partition ). His compositions in the voices of Surraya Asha and Tallat in
Goonj is a proof that mesic has no language or all of the languages are
languages of music

This is the first time I am hearing Suraiyya singing to Sardul Kwatra
tunes. All three songs are sweet, the first full of mirth and the other two
pathos-laden. The joyful one keeps ringing in my ears . And doesn't it pull
us in to join the dance that I imagine is accompanying the melody ? Thanks,
