Lyrics of Bhul Ja Ae Dil Wo Bate Bhul Ja - भूल जा ऐ दिल वो बातें भूल जा
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja
may ke din rangin rate bhul ja
may ke din rangin rate bhul ja

wo dhadkate dil wo sarmayi najar
wo dhadkate dil wo sarmayi najar
wo najar se dil ki bate bhul ja
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja

ab mohabbat kha rahi hai thokre
ab mohabbat kha rahi hai thokre
ho chuki chup chup ke ghate bhul ja
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja

lut gaye wo hasrato ke kafile
lut gaye wo hasrato ke kafile
haa wo umango ki barate bhul ja
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja
bhul ja aye dil wo bate bhul ja
lyrics of song Bhul Ja Ae Dil Wo Bate Bhul Ja
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Bhul Ja Ae Dil Wo Bate Bhul Ja - भूल जा ऐ दिल वो बातें भूल जा
Forget, O heart, those whispers, gone,
Forget, O heart, the tales forlorn.
The days of wine, the nights so bright,
The days of wine, the nights of light.

That beating heart, that shy, soft gaze,
That beating heart in hazy maze,
The heart's own language, spoken low,
Forget, O heart, the things you know.

Now love is stumbling, bruised and bare,
Now love is bearing wounds to bear,
The secret trysts, the shadowed play,
Forget, O heart, and turn away.

The caravans of dreams are lost,
The caravans of hopes are crossed,
Those wedding marches, joy's sweet art,
Forget, O heart, and break your heart.
Forget, O heart, those whispers, gone.

What a rare vintage goldie! Amar Ji was a great singing star of the 1940s.
However, controversially he did get playback. Naushad Ji's so melodious
composition and Amar Ji's great rendition in his lovely voice make this
song a true classic. Thank you so much for sharing this very, very rare
gem! You are truly a very kind person. Now, thanks to you, I have: 1. all
songs of Natak (1947) and 2. all songs of Suraiya Ji in 1947. Hope to see
much from your kind self.
