Lyrics of Banegi Aashaa Ik Din, Kaahe Ko Roye (Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana) - बनेगी आशा इक दिन, काहे को रोये (सफल होगी तेरी अराधना)
banegi asha ik din teri ye nirasha
kaahe ko roye chahe jo hoye
safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye
kaahe ko roye chahe jo hoye
safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye
diya tute to hai maati jale to ye jyoti bane
diya tute to hai maati jale to ye jyoti bane
bahe aansu to hai pani ruke to ye moti bane
ye moti ankho ki punji hai ye na khoye kaahe ko roye
chahe jo hoye safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye
sama jaye isme tufaan jiya tera sagar samaan
sama jaye isme tufaan jiya tera sagar samaan
nazar teri kaahe naadan chhalak gayi gaagar samaan
jane kyo tune yu asuvan se nain bhigoye kaahe ko roye
chahe jo hoye safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye
kahi pe hai dukh ki chhaya kahi pe hai khushiyo ki dhup
kahi pe hai dukh ki chhaya kahi pe hai khushiyo ki dhup
bura bhala jaisa bhi hai yahi to hai bagiya ka roop
phulo se kanto se mali ne haar piroye kaahe ko roye
chahe jo hoye safal hogi teri aradhna
safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye kaahe ko roye kaahe ko roye
kaahe ko roye chahe jo hoye
safal hogi teri aradhna kaahe ko roye

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Banegi Aashaa Ik Din, Kaahe Ko Roye (Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana) - बनेगी आशा इक दिन, काहे को रोये (सफल होगी तेरी अराधना)
From ashes of despair, a dawn shall break,
Why weep, though fate its cruel bargain make?
Your devotion's fruit, a harvest yet to glean,
Why weep, though fate's harsh visage is seen?
Your devotion's fruit, a promised, vibrant green.
When lamps are shattered, dust is all that's left,
But fire unfurls, from sorrow's deepest cleft.
Tears that fall, become the flowing stream,
When tears are kept, become a precious dream.
These pearls of sight, hold life's entire theme,
Why weep, though shadows cloud life's gleam?
Though fate may seem, your devotion's gleam.
Let storms descend, your spirit, a vast sea,
Let storms recede, your heart forever free.
Why does your sight, a restless fool, now cry?
Why does your sight, a vessel overflowing, sigh?
Your eyes, in tears, reflect a weeping sky,
Why weep? The reason, we can't deny.
Though fate may try, your devotion's high.
Where shadows dwell, the sun's warm kiss is found,
Where joys reside, where sorrows do abound.
Good and bad, a tapestry of fate,
This garden holds, a fragrant, woven state.
The gardener's art, of flowers and thorns create,
Why weep, though thorns your passage await?
Though fate dictate, your devotion's fate.
Your devotion's fate, why weep?
Why weep? Why weep?
Why weep, though fate its cruel bargain make?
Your devotion's fruit, a harvest yet to glean,
Why weep, though fate's harsh visage is seen?

aradhana film was also remade in bengali as dubbed film with same casting..and songs are sung by the same artist excluding rafi...but this song was not recorded in bengali version, because the tune was taken from a bengali number by sachin dev burman "kaloshape donshe amay",and when this bengali film released(1977),sachin dev burman already passed away..

It does motivate, but, initially because it is so full of emotion both in
words and voice, it is overpowering and it captures you and when you are
captured and have no way of escape, a natural reaction [for some people
anyway] is to cry.
