achchhe isaa ho marizo kaa khayaal achchhaa hai
ham mare jaate hai tum kahate ho haal achchhaa hai

unake dekhe se jo aa jaati hai munh par raunak
wo samajhate hai ke bimaar kaa haal achchhaa hai

roz aataa hai yaan mere dil ko tasalli dene
tujhase to dushman-e-jaan teraa khayaal achchhaa hai

The good physician, tending to the ill, a noble art,
While we, consumed by sorrow, are told, "Your state is good at heart."
From beholding her, a radiance blooms upon my face,
She believes the ailing one is flourishing with grace.

Each day you visit, to soothe my weary soul,
Yet, a thought of you, more comforting than the foe's control.
