This is the cleanest print of the most beloved folk dance and song ever in
any Indian movie--beloved in every respect, right down to the rustic
pronunciation of zulmi as julmi . The prime dancer Vijji with that
chubby-doll face, the supporting troupe including the adorable little
girls, the choreographer, MD Salil Chowdhary, and of course the Lata song
and the chorus, all seem to have responded to some divine calling. Perfect

No doubt the song is v.good, but its melody & beauty is increased many fold
when watched in the film. The dance by V.Mala is incomparable to any, by
any actress, in any film, even her own. I casually went to see this film in
1977 and the opening movements ( 0.29 to 0.42) by V.mala in this song got
me hooked. Excellent quality of video.
