Mazhar khan supposedly (abdul in film shaan) directed this film.

Interestingly in film thanedar for song Tama tama, Saroj khan had diffculty getting sanjay dutt, to dance to her choreography so Javed Jaffrey was brought in, because of his flexibility as a good dancer.
