The female singer was Mrs. Mehtab . It was in the label of the record . this was the first film Mehtab sang after her marriage.but in the same year baby siraiya gave her voice to mehtab in bothe Sanjog and Kanoon (1943)

actress was placed on the record. Mehtab never sang and many folks have
confirmed including Mr Hamraaz (author of Hindi Film Geetkosh) that it is
the voice of Parul Ghosh. Not only this song but other songs credited to
Mehtab.
