Thanks for uploading a rare song from a film which has not been seen by many generations of movie-song fans.Most of us .have been given to understand that movies used to hit box-office on the strength of their songs.This song also seems to have a universal appeal.

Oh! Sorry, I totally forgot about that. Yes, he had used her in Gramophone Singer and Hum, Tum Aur Wo, both 1938. In fact some believe that he introduced her in those films. Anyway, after those 2 films, she sang for him only in this film.

I am not partial to a particular singer, and, have good taste for singers of vintage era (like Parul Ghosh, Zohrabai, Ameerbai, Shamshad Begum). Thank you for the great initiative.
