biography on the film's director Vijay Anand - "Ek Hota Goldie," by Anita
Padhye states that Anand and the film's financier Tolaram Jalan had
different goals. Jalan wanted to produce a flop film to adjust his income
taxes and signed the biggest names of the 1960's - stars Dev Anand, Asha
Parekh and music directors Shanker-Jaikishen. [contd]

being.- 1. Duubte huye dil ko tinke kaa sahaaraa bhii nahii.n - Mohd. Rafi;
2. zindagii sehraa bhii hai aur zindagii gulshan bhii hai - Lata Mangeshkar
