This song is already at a level that it cannot go any higher. Both Dilip Kumar and Munawar Sultana have performed extremely well. Munawar Sultana was a very charming and beautiful lady who carried herself with ultimate grace, even with a touch of lightheartedness that so became her and the occasion, like the pouting of her mouth in jesting mockery to Dilip Kumar.

The song has its grace with Munawwar sultanaji and Dilip Sahib and replacing her with Nargisji or Madhubalaji has no meaning. She had her own charm and grace. She was a very leading heroine of those days who stopped acting after marriage.
