His compositions for Najam’s movie ‘Natija’ were hit. It starred Shamim
Bano and Yaqub. A Ghazal ‘Kahan Mein Aur Kahan Deen-e-Haram’ became popular
in no time. He was then used as a composer by Roop K. Shori (Meena Shori’s
husband) for a movie ‘Paaro’ and by Shahid Latif for ‘Shikayat’. He
composed two songs for Mahishori’s picture ‘Pagli’ and the rest were
composed by Ustad Jhandey Khan.
