Nobody bothered to mention the name of the composer Ghulam Mohammed the
creator of this melody. He was a great composer,see the notes go like a
knife through butter, such a beautiful flow. Bollywood forgot him and he
died unsung, when Pakeeza was re;eased that year's Filmfare award for best
music went to "Be-imaan" and Pran refused to accept the supporting actor
award in protest.

What an album by Ghulam Mohammad !!! Every song composed by him in this
album is a classic.. Truely speaking Pakeezah deserves Filmfare Award for
music more than Be-imaan... Not to offense Shankar-Jaikishan but the fact
