Herb Alpert himself copied the tune from a Mariachi Band playing at a
bullfight in Tijuana. Herb heard it and saw how the crowds were liking it -
so he adapted it himself and called it "The Lonely Bull". I think RD Burman
was a genius at recognizing and transforming tunes as well as composing
them just like Herb Alpert.
