An outstanding Lata song, amitajai. And sweet Nimmi in her role as a
courtesan wins our hearts through her innocence and vulnerability--so much
so that one wishes her uncouth male patron were not there to exploit her ,
treating her coarsely as a mere commodity for his use. ( Of course , the
fact that he repels us shows that he too is a good actor!). Thanks for the

i have always adored this song although heard not more than twice in more
than twenty years and only once a few months ago which made me an ardent
fan of anil biswas . it is such a unique song v sweetly rendered by lata ji
and i always wondered why it was rarely played on radio or heard . although
watching the video is quite a shock . i never imagined it would be
picturised like this.still nimmi has emoted gracefully on this superb song
which doesnt seem like a dance no. at all . thanks .

It is too late to respond but better than never! I had enjoyed this song a
number of times on 'Aap Ke Anurodh per' on Radio Cylone; viewed to-day. It
pains me note that only 1927 visitors have viewed and only 9 liked and a
very few responded. This unique clip has combination of the best
performance by full team which rarely happened. Thanks for your very

this is a gem of a song ! I had heard it only a few times on the radio and
found it extremely captivating ! lata ji sounds divine as usual while
singing each verse composed in a different ''raag'' . I seem to have also
heard on the radio that this movie had another name too but I am not sure
.thank you very much for this precious upload .
