my guesses for this movie are that: 1) this is a dream sequence song (aka rani is in love and knows it, but shahid doesn't know that she loves him - or that he loves her back - and rani is just dreaming how it would be), and 2) those scenes towards the end where shahid is wearing a kurta and he and rani are dancing with a huge group of people are not from this song but from a different one...
