Personally, I never believe that he even ever imitated Rafi saab, the thing is he was his student and it was only the effect of his great teacher which slightly affected his singing. The pitch, the range, the songs he was chosen to sing every thing was so unique of him otherwise he cannot make his own place among the singers like Rafi Saab, Mukeshji and KishoreDa. He was really genuine and gave us the songs like chalo ek baar , aadha hai chandramaa and many more.

This is the only indian song i remember whole from when i was a child (
just the music, not the lyrics because i don't understand what they are
saying ) , in 2009 i was looking for it on youtube with no success . I
think youtube needs a serious overhaul because people are willing to pay
