Pretty tight, this band. I really like it. But the drummer, oh my God; he
really needs to tighten up the screws! His technique is flawed and he loses
the count at times.

could you highlight the time where he looses count, he sounds fine to me ,
remember that this is a fusion piece based on the tala system in case u
didn't see the tabla! :)

It's not just in one place where he loses count. It's okay, it may happen
to drummers and percussionists while playing live.I'm based in LA as a
drummer and tabla player (I'm a Visharad in tabla), playing for over 20
years, I do think he needs to tighten up a bit. I know very well what the
tala system is, thank you. A good percussionist is one who keeps time at
all times!

It's ok Rajiv, I didn't get offended. I suggest you see the video
carefully, possibly in slow motion. That would give you a better
understanding of where he's going off. As the errors are very minute, and
almost immaterial; it's not visible to the untrained eye. Never mind. Watch
it a few times consecutively, I'm sure you'll get it. Cheers :)
