Yes, it does prove that the lamp of S-J's creativity was still burning. And
in some ways, S-J's real magnum opus was Sannyasi, which Shankarji composed
all alone. Yet, the question must be answered. After 1971, why could
Shankarji not keep up his composing level where it belonged - in the sky?
In the 1971-1987 period, ALL of S-J's TRULY great compositions can be
counted on one's fingers, whereas, earlier, you needed both hands to count
the great songs in EACH MOVIE scored by S-J.

through my blogs on SJ those are shankarjaikishan dot wordpress dotcom,
shankerjaikishan dot blogspot dot com & shanker-jaikishenblogspotcom to
know the truth. The main reason was that at a time when Shankerji was
already a broken person after Shailendra's demise and got to face second
biggest blow in the sad demise of Jaikishen, RK deserted his loyalist like
nothing. Thou 80 percent of RK's compositions are by Shankerji.
