Manna da was probably the most under-appreciated singer in Bollywood. I
love Rafi saab, but IMHO Mann da was equally good if not shade better.
Great Music by Salil da and heart touching lyrics by Prem Dhawan ji.
BTW, two great songs have been filmed on Afghan characters and both numbers
are sung by Manna da. Viz., "yaari hai imaan mera." in Zanjeer and this
one in Kabuliwala. Wish to visit mountains of Afghanistan some day. Hope
that country and it's people find peace and prosperity soon.
