The first freedom fighter and the martyr was TIPU SULTAN bu this name is no
where in the national history. Anyone who would have given the british any
nightmares, it was only TIPU SULTAN and he fought them till his last breath
and died in fighting the british in the battleground like a true tiger.

mention u abt another true royal indian tiger who died on the battle
field.And more over i want to ask a question "IS THERE AN INDIAN WHO MADE
THE BRITISHERS SO AFRAID THAT THEY DID NOT APPROACH HIS BODY AFTER HE WAS
SHOT THAT FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD OF 2 HOURS".so i say CHANDRASHEKAR AZAD a
man we can be proud of and he is also the mentor for shaheed Bhagat Singh.

@singhkinng He said in his Autobiography that ,his inspiration to give up each and every part of body for the righteous cause came from the writings of Sikh gurus.
He said "Sikh dharm me sach ke liye ang ang katwane ki parampara ka mein kayal hoon"
but he did not believe in god.And when you talk about sikh warriors you can say their motivation comes from same sources , however they are believers of God unlike Bhagat singh.If he was not sikh he wouldn't have been Bhagat singh.

At no point does it mean he was actually Sikh, at best you could say he was a cultural Sikh but to say that he was Sikh would mean he would have to believe in the Sikh concept of god. Don't get me wrong, Sikhism is a great religion and i respect it a lot, just trying to get some facts straight. He was an atheist and proud of it. Read 'Why i am an atheist?' by Bhagat Singh and you'll see.

@singhkinng Well , i meant to say that the warrior spirit into him came from the philosophy of Sikh religion, he was not Sikh in the sense of believing in God or being spiritual but his inspiration of sacrificing himself for the right cause came from his Sikh religion.And he himself admitted that in that "Why i am an atheist?"
I never said that he was practicing Sikh.
And btw , what really really Sets Sikh soldiers in Indian army apart from others ?it's not just the belief in god (cont)

@singhkinng (cont) its not only about belief in god which makes them good warrior ,it also has to do with Guru gobind singh ji's inspiring bani like "sura so pehchaniye .." , "deh shiva bar mohe ihe shubh karman .." etc which makes them dangerous warriors. and bhagat singh has also mentioned Guru gobind ji's name in another of his writing related to dalits.

forgotten by our leaders to promote M.K Gandhi,who took all the credit for
getting India independent. Would there were an essay on these 3 great
martyrs in school,colleges, other educational institutes besides M.K Gandhi.
