The correct name of the programme is Hamesha Jawan Geet being played on
Radio Ceylon (SLBC). I heard it even recently in the month of May 2012. But
to my shock, the evening programme is discontinued; morning programme
continues to be played - also available online. Please enjoy listening.

I grew up listening to Radio Ceylon in 50's and 60's for 8 hours a day
until I left India in 1965. Sunday Night's old film song program was my
favorite and I used to send in my requests frequently. Abhi to main jawan
hoon was indeed its signature tune. Vijay Kishore Dubey and then Gopal
Sharma had made Radio Ceylon most popular radio station in the world.

Mazharji,as far as I remember the program was Aap ke Anurodh par From SLBC
every sunday night from 10pm to 11.pm. and this was the signature tune for
the program--Those were the days in mid 50's when Balu Keskar the then I&B
minister had banned film songs from AIR which as a result lost to
SLBC--Then realising their folly GOI came out with Vividh Bharti in 1958

Ceylon [SLBC]. I grew up listening to this program during 60s and 70s when
radio made way to television and then internet.
