It wasn't a direct lift, though he clearly took the basic idea from it, if
you listen to Mehbooba there is a lot RD has added himself (to arguably
make a better song than the original). And do keep in mind, a lot of the
times he "lifted" a song it was under pressure from the filmmaker rather
than of his own will.
