I agree with Nawaid and Dixson M.L. This song does not suit Rahman's nasal
twang and the rendition is mediocre at best. Very few people can sing this
successfully - not even Asha Bhosale. Search Shankar Tucker/Rohini Ravada
on youtube. That according to me is the closest anyone can come to doing
justice to the original.

I have not heard the original... And so I am at a better place to rate this
effort by Rahman. This is MAGICAL! It feels like heaven to me. This is
that vintage Rahman melodic song that makes me feel like you are floating
joyously in ecstacy. Don't know how good the original was, but this one is
