In 1980 I was in DC USA and my son was born in Bombay. I was waiting to see
my baby. However due to reasons beyond my control I waited for him in USA
for 7 months. I used to listen to this song waiting n pleading to see him.
30 years gone but even now while listening to it reliving the waiting. Now
I am in Bombay and he is in L.A. I do not do the intazaar any more. Thanks

This is a fantastic song sung most beautifully by Noor Jehan. I have it on
an LP. But this upload has probably been made from the original 78 rpm and
so gives unfortunately gives an edge to her voice. (wish I knew how to
upload records...)
